Like many other things in life, relationships only get better with time and effort. Some are never as easy as others though, in a way, it’s like building a house. Being introduced to something new can make it very difficult to comprehend and work towards the development within these new relationships.

Of course when I talk about family or friends, those things are easy to discuss, but when it gets more personal I find myself at a loss for words. I feel that, in order to successfully understand a relationship we have with someone else, the major parts of any relationship have to be established. The major three keys in my personal opinion are: communication, trust, and effort. Without these things the foundation is not there and things can easily fall apart.

You put the time in by carefully laying each brick in its place in order to keep your foundation strong and sturdy, then you put in the effort of building your relationship up and decorating it to your liking. That way you are both happy and comfortable in your newly built “home”.
