Evernote (a note-taking service that I use religiously) has added the ability to handwrite notes on iOS.

Once you update, you’ll see a new pen icon when creating a note. That gives you access to a pen, highlighter, eraser, and selection tool, with the ability to choose between five line thicknesses and color options. When you’re done, the image resizes itself to fit inside the note, but more can be added later.

It works with your finger and styli, and is also pressure-sensitive for 3D Touch-supporting devices.

These sketches will sync to Evernote’s other apps, and the service’s handwriting recognition will find text inside these notes.

Evernote is available in the iOS App Store for free.
