Hope /hōp/ noun / a feeling of expectation and desire for a certain thing to happen. When I think of the word hope, I think of being strong. Everyone finds hope in different things, some in a person, a quote, a role model, or even in Jesus. When you have hope, you feel as if you have the strength to keep pushing yourself to not give up. From the moment you become discouraged you feel yourself slowly losing hope in these important things you’re holding onto.

Choosing what you put your hope in affects the outcome of being healed or let down. Hope is not an easy thing to hold onto or have in today’s world.

For example, if you have a lot of hope that you and your best friend are going to be best friends forever and that hope is being held inside of her you can be let down; In this situation this friend determines the outcome of the situation. All hope is lost and discouraging at some point in your life. Holding my hope in Jesus is the greatest decision I have ever made. He has never failed me or let the hope I have in him waver.

If you’re reading this and you feel as if you have lost hope and are in need of something to hold onto to get you through you should remember not to lose hope because you never know what tomorrow may bring for you. Here’s your reminder to not give up, you have come so far and with hope you will go far beyond what you have ever hoped for.
