Kimiko Williams
A day at home with nothing to do senior, Kimiko Williams decides to put her creativity to the test and do what she does best.

A unique, seventeen year old female with a shy personality explains that she loves to design and does it for fun whenever she can. She particularizes it as a way she expresses her creativity. She believes it’s something that pops up in her head and has to be done.

“Creativity is being able to think in a different way or in a wider spectrum than usual,” Williams said.

Over the summer of 2017, Williams released her successful clothing line, Collective Colorways. Releasing her own clothing line is something extraordinary from what people have done in the town she lives in.

Williams did not make the clothing line for other people, she made it for herself. Ever since the release of her clothing line, she has received compliments, which inspired her to make more creations.

The end goal, for Williams, is the production of her work, and that is why she continues to do what she does because the results is something that she has fell in love with.

“The end goal is what motivates me to continue doing what I do,” Williams said.

A shy girl from Georgia, who is quite successful in everything that she does creatively, she didn’t only make the clothing line alone, she made it with her best friend, Seblé Tsegay.

“I feel like it was very successful, and honestly if we weren’t stuck in Powder Springs I feel like we would have really took off way more with that clothing line,” Tsegay said.

Williams is a very talented person, and she has created many authentic things. She’s just a imaginative person in general, as a result of her imagination she has had many beautiful creations.

She’s very creative. She has a mind of her own, and I like how everything she wants to do she does it,” Williams best friend, Tsegay stated. “She’s very different. I don’t know how to explain it, she does different things, she never wants to be like someone else.”

Williams is a generous and laid-back person, who has creativeness written all over her: from the way she dresses to the way she acts. She is something you never really see everywhere you go and that is something unique about her.
